Surgery Update

We got to be with Peyton as they put her to sleep this morning around 8:15 AM so they could close up the slight hole resulting from the removal of her trach.  The doctor emerged about an hour later and took us back to recovery.  Peyton did great,  she wasn't to pleased with what was going on, but she was a trooper.  We hung around for a couple of hours to make sure every thing was okay.  We arrived home around 1:00 PM.  I picked up her prescription and as I write this, she is crashed out, which is well deserved.
