Didn’t exactly go anywhere, but it’s been a real busy time for us, not to mention a computer crash and having to pay off the tax man, and that was just April. Peyton had a couple of doctor appointments, and they were uneventful except to say RSV season is over! May, on the other hand, was just crazy busy for us. We had birthdays, Hannah turned 11 and Yolanda worked hard to host a Polynesian Luau themed party with grass skirts, bamboo, fruit and fire. Hannah and her friends had a great time, even if Peyton won the limbo contest. We had Aaron’s band banquet and final high school concert also his final Colorado Honor Band concert as well as his grandfather Harley’s retirement from the Colorado Honor Band, after 40 years. Then we ended the month with Aaron’s Graduation and party. We had a lot going on and Peyton did well with all of the activity while remaining quite healthy.
We did have a doctor’s appointment at the end of May with Peyton ENT specialist to discuss her upcoming surgery to enlarge her windpipe. He is concerned, because she is having issues with Acid Reflux, and the success rate for this procedure is far greater if the Acid Reflux is under control. She has been on medication for some time, but he seems to think a higher dosage would be a good idea. We had an appointment in late June with a Gastro Doctor to evaluate and discuss the options available for resolution. Peyton spent last night (July 9th) at The Children’s Hospital so they can monitor her Acid Reflux for 24 hours. This is achieved by putting a small tube in her nose down to her stomach. A procedure she is not very fond of as you can imagine, but she is a trooper, and dealing with it quite well. In a couple of hours, I will have the privilege of picking up Peyton and Yolanda and getting them home. Hopefully, we will receive favorable results and will be able to get her surgery scheduled. Other than that, Peyton is doing very well, she is walking almost exclusively, her signing is coming along, as she understands so much and is learning more signs not to mention creating several of her own. We may be on the verge of creating the Spanish of international sign language. Peyton has been spending some time at the pool with her mom and sister, splashing in the kiddy pool and working on her tan. Enjoy these pictures.

Thank you so much for the update. I check you blog so that I can have something to tell Grandma. She just adores Peyton. She is such a cutie. Good luck in the upcoming events.
