April Update
Easter is over already? Can you believe that half the year is over already? It’s kind of sad, because we all get older too! Peyton dyed her first Easter eggs and had a lot of fun getting all wet and colorful, she only dyed about 5 eggs and was done. Her attention span is quite short; there are so many things to do! She is always making progress where her diet and speech is concerned, she is down to one can of milk a day at naptime and is maintaining her weight very well. With the help of Leslie, her stern, but always sweet therapist, she is combining 2,3, and 4 words together at any given time. Such as “kick your butt dork” and “ my doggy at home” very cute! She is getting so big! We are now trying to teach her “ I want” at the beginning of her requests. Peyton is still attending Gymboree classes once a week and is having a blast! Ken moved her toddler bed into our room over a week ago. We bought her new sheets and a cute blanket and girlie pillows and we are happy to report that she has slept in it for 6 nights in a row!! She loves her bath and putting her jammies on night. She is just so precious to us, and always surprising us. Anyway, in our last update we failed to mention some fun news, we are expecting a new baby in early September! I was waiting to tell my dad in person when we went to Texas in mid march. So I hope we didn’t worry anyone, everything is just fine! Ken and I had a two-hour ultrasound at our 19th week with a specialist and the baby looks very healthy, no signs of Pierre Robin Sequence (no cleft lip or palette or small chin) they cant see the airway so we don’t really know about that yet. Keep baby in your prayers that everything will be okay. Aaron and Hannah are excited and at the same time are like “oh boy, here we go again” They are both doing well; Aaron has his private glider plane license now so he can take passengers up in the glider. Ken has attempted many times, but due to weather, got cancelled. After May 29th Hannah will no longer be a grade school student! She will be attending Legend High School until Cimmeron middle school is finished being built. She is growing up too fast already! Ken is still working at UPS in the morning. Once again as a contractor he is out of work thanks to Verizon and their 2 yr. contract policy. Stinks!! So if anyone wants to pay me for housecleaning or something I’d be happy to!! So we hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy we love you all and enjoy all of this beautiful weather we are having!
